I also read Freakonomics man.
A very good book, that introduces you to a different way of thinking. It challenges the so called conventional wisdom against statistical analysis and interpretation. So, Ram if you want to find answers the Freakonomics way, get into real questionaire with wide variety of people, get you numbers and thereby answers. Analysing something again on the conventional wisdoms and beliefs of a narrow section of people is not freakonomics way! :)

 

though u r speaking correctly, i can't do it that way. at present, i am looking at only asking freak questions not finding the answer in freakonomics way.

 

The logic, good looks + good dance = good market, doesn't always hold good da.

See Dhanush, Averagish look (doesn't he look like Iday?!)+ ok dance, but still he was a big hit (and tied knot with Superstar's daughter).

Take Shyam, Good look + descent dance + big introduction, but still has no market.

So, more than the logic, things should fall in place to become a busy hero!!

 

Hmmm.. may be Jeeva is more choosy than his brother in signing up new films?!

But... he has lot of craze among girls... probably next only to Surya!!

BTW. Dhanush = Okay dance. C'mon - he's good in my view. Pretty good. And he WAS a big hit.
He got a good entry coz of the sleazy first movie, good second movie (where he did a tailor made role) and a suprise hit third movie (which pretty much ran for a single song). Story begins there, story ends there.

and looks like u have a problem with ur sense of dancing :)
Shyam - decent dance?!?! he's bad. His dancing is pretty much like exercising.
But yeah - he has a good physique, face, can do the amul baby roles and perhaps the fighter roles too.
But his acting sucks really - he does not have the zeal in him to carry a movie on his shoulders.
so - he can never win, unless he learns to ACT. May be he'll do a few more group movies :)

Look at Arya - from nothing to such a big thing.
He was so cool in Pattiyal :)

 

Young Iday (1 st year college) was like Dhanush. But, it doesn't mean that Iday is averagish. We all know the craze girls had over Iday (Axe-effect)?!!
