expected comments from an american (in mind). This is a move written in ancient veshitikaadhikaram to fool enemies that he is having itches in that area. But, actually he is saving the brand new clothes from getting dirty. Afterall it is needed for another 5 years.

yeah yeah - he does not have any more money to buy new veshtis.
Atleast till he finds one more "emandha sonagiri" producer and transfer his bank account to his and give us the next "Mega Hit"...

All i can say is "Aah - there goes one more clown".

That something like this can happen is what hurts me.
This is a guy, who has done nothing more than acting in movies, rank bad ones that too. All of a sudden the clown decides he wants to wear the white dhotis, flaunts a party, throws some veshti-sattais and podavais, gives some books, some donations etc - and all this only for the past few months with the political agenda in mind. I dont think he has done much till day, not at this level. 2 months of all this and the ppl see this guy to be a deserving politician - it sucks big time :(

Look at who u r comparing him with man. My Q is not "does a person from the cinemas deserve to enter into politics".

My Q is "what has Mr.V done earlier in life to claim that role in the society???" His entry into politics has been a planned one - and that is my problem. It is not like he did so many good stuff in life and based on those he entered into politics. It is a case where he decided to enter into politics, found "Hey i cannot ask for votes with my performances on screen (which are pretty bad to say the least)" and so he dons the "do gooder" role for about 6 months or so.

Pretty much like slogging hard in front of the manager or lead during the days around the appraisal to get a higher rating. It works - as u have said. But it is not what one must do.

But yeah - i agree. The old-style "i did good, with power i'll do more good" kinda politicians are never gonna come back :)
